CB Kidd Memorial Prize
Named in honour of the late Dr Cecil Kidd, the annual CB Kidd Memorial Prize is awarded to the best student in psychiatry during the course of the degree of Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Western Australia. The award consists of a medallion, a certificate and a cheque for $600, which is presented at the WA Branch General Meeting.
Arch Ellis Memorial Award
Named in honour of the late Dr Arch Ellis, the Arch Ellis Award is awarded annually to the fourth year medical student at the University of Western Australia who obtains the highest marks in psychiatry the previous year. The award consists of a medallion, a certificate and a cheque for $500, which is presented at the WA Branch General Meeting.
Mark Rooney Memorial Prize
Named in honour of the late Dr Mark Rooney, the Mark Rooney Memorial prize is awarded annually to the fourh year MBBS (postgraduate) student at Notre Dame University who obtains the highest mark in Psychiatry. The award consists of a medallion, a certificate and a cheque for $500 which is presented at the WA Branch General Meeting.
WA Branch Meritorious Service Award
The Meritorious Service Award of the RANZCP’s WA Branch is awarded on an occasional basis to recognise outstanding contribution to psychiatry in Western Australia by a person or organisation. Nominations are received from the WA Fellowship and are assessed by the Branch Committee. The Award is presented at the Western Australian branch dinner in the year of award, and consists of a medallion and certificate.
