Support, breaks and deferrals
Support options and guidance when need to leave, return or change your membership status.
- Deferral or exemption from CPD You can apply for exemption or deferral from CPD requirements on a number of grounds.
- CPD while living and working overseas Meeting your CPD requirements while overseas depends on the status of your medical registration.
- Leave and return to practice Answers to common questions about CPD requirements when returning after a period of leave.
- Reinstatement of membership If you have resigned from the RANZCP or your membership has been terminated, you can apply to have your membership reinstated.
- Retiring from practice To retire from practice you need to cease your medical registration and notify the College of your retirement.
- Refresher and remediation programs Customised programs for members who have taken longer breaks from practice, or who need to remediate their medical registration.
