Key Responsibilities:
- Offer comprehensive administrative support for the WA BTC (Branch Training Committee).
- Provide clear, accurate advice on West Australian training programs and WA BTC operations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in organising WA BTC meetings, including preparing agendas and documentation, attending meetings to take minutes, and tracking and following up on action items.
- Contribute to the creation and review of policies and procedures.
- Support quality improvement initiatives undertaken by WA BTC.
- Work on Melbourne time, with the key requirement of being available at 8:00 am on the third Thursday of each month for a critical committee meeting.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant qualification in administration or education and/or experience in an education setting preferred with specific student administration or membership-related role desirable.
- Experience in preparing agendas, recording minutes, and executing action items.
- Understanding of workplace-based assessment and medical education would be highly regarded.
- Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.

The role
As part of our busy and bustling Education Department, this role provides support for academic examinations including overseeing applications and enrolments. Are you a detail-oriented, organized, and friendly? This is an exciting opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Our Teams: Provide general administrative and logistics support for assessment activities, ensuring smooth coordination across our teams and committees.
- Travel Coordination: Organise domestic and international travel and accommodation for external assessment activities, ensuring everything aligns with RANZCP policies.
- Online and Offline Administration: Manage the administration of online assessments, exams, applications, and training sessions.
- Committee Assistance: Offer support and handle administration tasks for various committees as needed.
- Candidate Support: Provide clear and accurate advice regarding assessments, addressing inquiries from candidates and managing the clinical inbox.
- Problem Resolution: Escalate and discuss issues appropriately with your team or supervisor, ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
- Eligibility Audits: Conduct audits to verify candidates' eligibility for assessments, manage application confirmations, timetables, results administration, and update relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work with other College staff to facilitate efficient administration of assessments.
- Venue Coordination: Manage all aspects of assessment venues, including catering, audiovisual setup, assessor coordination, travel arrangements, and document distribution.
- Paperwork Management: Handle all assessment-related paperwork, from preparing packs for assessment panels to printing, collating, and distributing documents.
- Database Maintenance: Ensure our assessment-related databases are accurate and up-to-date, including trainee files and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to Initiatives: Support various education and examination initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Assist with reviewing, improving, and implementing processes within the Assessment Unit.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in the student administration or assessment environment.
- A background in tertiary or membership or student administration is highly desirable.
- Understanding of examinations processes, training, or student applications.
- Excellent computer skills using MS Office programs, including Excel, and a sound understanding of databases.

Position overview
This is a new opportunity to implement and embed a Lived Experience Strategy at RANZCP. You will support and guide the organisation as it applies a new focus to the experience that is brought through the personal understanding of the mental health system.
This will include supporting those with lived and living experience who wish to share their knowledge with the College through participation in our Committees.
This role supports RANZCP's intention to place lived experience expertise within its work at both strategic and operational levels. Bringing external partnership and stakeholder engagement expertise, the Senior Adviser, Carer, will build strong and enduring relationships internally and externally.
The role will represent RANZCP in the lived and living experience sector and will support the College to create and hold space for different perspectives, and to guide a change of culture and processes to authentically embed lived experience within RANZCP's work.
This position is one of two designated lived experience roles developed as part of the RANZCP Lived Experience Strategy. The successful candidate in this role will work primarily from the lens of lived experience of the chosen unpaid carer, including through the family perspective of whnau and kin, and drawing on lived experience to guide decision-making, having a connection to, and understanding the position of carer or whnau support, as well as confidently advocating for change and challenging existing norms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive RANZCP's Lived Experience strategy, aligning with the organisation's strategic plan, mission, and objectives to amplify the voices of carers, whnau and kin.
- Champion the identification, recruitment, and engagement of individuals with lived experience, ensuring a balanced representation of carers and consumers in advisory roles and committees.
- Cultivate relationships with Lived Experience peak bodies, advocacy groups, and stakeholders in Australia and New Zealand to foster cooperation between consumer and carer perspectives.
- Facilitate training programs for college staff to effectively engage with carers and whnau support, emphasising collaboration.
- Develop mechanisms for obtaining and incorporating feedback from carers to inform college decisions.
- Collaborate with media, communication, membership, events, and policy teams to communicate the college's commitment to integrating carer, whnau and kin
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of the lived experience strategy, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure the ethical considerations and sensitivity to personal and emotional aspects of lived experience are maintained in the college's initiatives from a carer, whnau and kin perspective.

Qualifications and Experience
- Identify as a person with lived or living experience as a carer, whnau or kin of someone with mental health needs.
- Understand the history of the lived experience movement from a carers, whnau or kin position.
- Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in psychology, social work, public health, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in program management, advocacy, or strategy implementation, preferably in the mental health field.
- Experience in delivering programs using the principles of co-design and co-development.
- Proven experience in partnering with individuals who have lived experience of mental health challenges.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
