Dr Sue Lutton
Sue Lutton is a Consultant Psychiatrist who works as a psychotherapist in private practice and also as the Consultant Psychiatrist to the Association for Services to Torture and Trauma in refugees and asylum seekers. She has an active role in providing supervision and psychotherapy training, has an interest in the arts and literature and is Chair of the Binational Section of Philosophy and Humanities in Psychiatry.
For over twenty five years a focus of her clinical work has been in developing models of trauma informed care and in understanding the complexity of post-traumatic stress disorder particularly as experienced by a refugee and asylum seeker population. In addition, she has a strong interest in teaching, education and the welfare of trainees and psychiatrists. She was a past Director of Post Graduate Training and member of the National Committee for Examinations
