The Lived and Living Experience Strategy

Update
The RANZCP is proud to introduce our Lived and Living Experience Strategy.
Developed in close collaboration with those with lived and living experience, this strategy reflects our commitment to embedding their voices, expertise, and insights into every facet of the College’s work.
It identifies 41 foundational actions across all aspects of our work – from education and training to governance, advocacy, policy development and clinical practice – providing a clear framework to ensure our work continues to reflect the diverse realities of those we serve.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed to the development of our Lived and Living Experience, in particular Dr Peggy Brown, Ms De Backman-Hoyle, Dr Daisy Brooke, and Dr Simon Stafrace.
We also acknowledge the tenacity of all those in the Lived and Living Experience sector, and members of our own Community Collaboration Committee, who have worked for decades to amplify the need for best practice – long before the sector itself understood its critical importance.
