21 Jul 2022
Update
An unprecedented financial crisis is unfolding in Sri Lanka. In addition to shortages of food, petrol and gas, there are shortages of essential medicines including psychotropic medications with many already out of stock or expected to run out soon.
The Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists has organised a foreign currency account (US dollars) for donations. Funds will be used to buy medications from local agents and handed over to the medical supply division of the Ministry of Health or local psychiatry units based on identified needs.
If you wish to make a donation, please transfer in US dollars with reference ‘urgent medication fund’.
