A look back at the RANZCP 2023 New Zealand Conference

Update
The RANZCP 2023 New Zealand conference took place in Rotorua from 11-13 September.
The conference was an excellent opportunity to network with friends, colleagues, and community members, and a fantastic Māori cultural experience. There were captivating presentations on topics related to Māori mental health, ADHD, old age psychiatry and more. These offered valuable learning and insights into how we can better support those in the community. The conference concluded with a fun and light-hearted debate about whether AI is better than a psychiatrist. Both sides had fascinating points, and the psychiatrist team won the debate.
Thanks to all our speakers, industry partners, volunteers, staff and members who were instrumental in making this conference such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone in Wellington for next year’s conference from 18–20 September 2024.
