WA Section of Early Career Psychiatrists Networking Event

Making the jump from trainee to consultant psychiatrist is a big and exciting step. To help you navigate this transition, we're hosting a Transition to Consultant face-to-face session at the WA Branch office on Saturday 22 November, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

This relaxed and practical session will cover what life looks like beyond Fellowship, including tips on AHPRA registration, career options (public, private, academic, rural, or a mix), setting up in practice, and meeting your CPD requirements. You'll hear real experiences from psychiatrists who've recently made the transition, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.

There will be time to network with early career psychiatrists and fellow trainees, making it a great chance to build connections and share ideas in a supportive space.

Cost

Free, including welcome canapes and meet and mingle style finger food after the event.

Cancellation Policy

There is no cancellation refund as this is a free event. If you cannot attend and have registered, please let us know as there are limited numbers.
