In-personWelcome to the third presentation of the Last Lecture Series.
- "Not retiring, merely 'pivoting': reflections on where a career in medicine can take us"
- 'If this were your last time to address your colleagues, what would you say to them?'
- 'What wisdom would you try to impart to the world if you knew it was your last chance?'
The series is based on a book by Prof Randy Pausch 'The Last Lecture: Lessons in Living' and his last lecture delivered in 2007 'Really achieving your childhood dreams'. His talk was modelled on an ongoing series of lectures where top academics at his university were asked to think deeply about what matters most to them and then give a hypothetical 'final talk'.
Special mention to Dr Ken Fielke OAM for suggesting the Last Lecture Series.
